Louise Brooks is the founding partner of Brooks and
Falotico where she has overseen the design and
construction of scores of important residences
throughout the United States.
Prior to forming Brooks and Falotico, Ms. Brooks was
an Associate at the firm of GN Associates, where she
was responsible for the design and management of
several A.I.A. award-winning projects including the
renovation of General Electric's Executive offices
in Fairfield, Connecticut. At Sylvan R. Shimitz
Associates, a lighting consultant in New Haven,
Connecticut, she worked with many prominent
architectural firms, including I.M. Pei and
Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. Her responsibilities
as a project manager at Tilton and Lewis Associates
in Chicago, Illinois, included the renovation of
Wingspread, the Johnson family residence.
Ms. Brooks serves on the advisory board of the Bank
of New York - Mellon, and on the Housing Board of
the Town of New Canaan. She received a
bachelor of fine arts degree from Saint Mary's
College and studied Architecture at the University
of Notre Dame and Drexel University. |
